The bodybuilding and fitness industries are depending on anabolic steroids!
In the first post about anabolic steroids here at Ad Astra, I mentioned that "It is also likely that Western cultural developments contributed to the increased prevalence of use of AAS".
The first clip here will not only show that, but also that basically everything is fake speaking of bodybuilders and fitness models. Men and female. Anabolic steroids, cosmetic surgery, implants, fake hair - anything that might enhance one's physical appearance will be used! Bodybuilding as such has, is, and always will, be the synonym to anabolic steroids.
The so-called "finess industry", that evidently does not promote healthy models, is found right next to bodybuilding. If you ever doubted that, simply listen to the words of a top fitness model in the first clip...
The second clip gives a good idea how sport, society and teens may be affected by steroids. Not everyone using anabolic steroids are even aware of it, since sport supplements may contain anabolic steroids that still aren't listed as one. Some supplements may also contain steroids that are not listed under nutritional facts.
Anabolic steroids are here to stay, whether we like it or not. Professional bodybuilders and fitness models features in fitness and muscle magazines all across the globe, meaning that multimillion dollar industries are depending on anabolic steroids. Nutritional supplements are also to be taken into account, sometimes containing illegal substances or claiming anabolic-steroid-like gains. The Olympic Games are also found in this equation, since superstar athlets setting new world records are simply a must to keep this circus rolling.
