MusicPosted by Jean Dar Fri, February 02, 2018 02:38:16 Argentinean hard rock music
Being on my "7 weeks in Latin America" trip and currently in Argentina, its not surprising I've been listening to local music. One song that I really like and was officially released on YouTube only days ago, is Airbag's song Gran Encuentro, originally from the 2016 album Mentira La Verdad.
Airbag is an Argentine hard rock band formed in 1999 and consists of three brothers: Patricio Sardelli
(lead guitar, piano and vocals), Gastón Sardelli (bass guitar and
backing vocals) and Guido Sardelli (drums, rhythm guitar and vocals).
They have released five studio albums and one live album and toured
mostly around Latin America.
When the world breathlessly awaits the release of your highly-anticipated debut album, what else can you do but to reveal one of its stunning jewels? Matt Darey lifts a tip of the veil with the soulful 'I Still Remember' ft. Kate Louise Smith.
Only a short wait until 'Blossom & Decay' lands in dance land. With more than 20 years of experience in music and still residing amongst the top producers and DJ's in EDM's ever-growing scene, you could say that time is ripe to finally have his first album out there. After sneak peek's 'Hold Your Breath', 'Follow You' and 'Hold On', Matt Darey presents the warm and dreamy 'I Still Remember'.
Featuring the powerful vocals of UK singer/songwriter Kate Louise Smith, this is one of the absolute essentials of the season. This original mix comes with four remixes and was released this Monday.
Since the release of Emma Hewitt's debut album, the world has become a little more colorful. Blossoming with every tune, Emma Hewitt's 'Burn The Sky Down' fuses ambient and pop with electronic dance music, all shining the unique talents of the songstress. Emma Hewitt's warm voice lights the sky, in both the original and remix versions. For those craving for the electronic side of her songs, there's now the 'Remixes' pack of 'Burn The Sky Down'.
Including remixes by some of EDM's finest producers, ranging from trance to electro, house and progressive, these are the interpretations of Armin van Buuren, Cosmic Gate, Morgan Page, tyDi, Venom One, Shogun, Arnej, Dabruck & Klein and many more. The sky burns down once again, in bright, vivid colors.
Officially published on YouTube some four hours ago!
Holland and Iceland unite in the sounds of young talents Setrise and Johann Stone. They might be rookies to the game, but with the melodic prog-trancer of 'Icesave', they know more than well how to play it. Setrise, a fast rising name in the Dutch trance scene, responsible for tunes such as 'Odysseus', '39e' and of course, his remake of classic tune 'Kernkraft 400'.
He pairs up with Reykjavik local Johann Stein, bringing us a warm, gently flowing trancer with a feel for prog. 'Icesave' easily gets under your skin, and with the support of Armin van Buuren to get the hype started, this could just turn into one of trance's new favourites.
Following the highly acclaimed release of "Winter" at the start of the year - "Spring" is the second compilation from electronic music pioneer Paul Oakenfold's Four Seasons album & live show concept.
As the sun finally returns and a new season blossoms Paul Oakenfold marks the occasion with a fresh and exciting mix album filled with a vibrant blend of music that reflects perfectly the transition from dark to light.
With a cutting edge tracklist featuring music from many of Paul's current favourite producers including Beatman & Ludmilla, Federation, Thomas Datt, Robert Vadney, Protoculture, Eximinds, Eshericks and Magnus this mix showcases once again the seamless programming and soundscape creation skills of one of the few headline DJs of today that is truly worthy of the title legend.
From the opening lush, ambient chords and haunting, atmospheric pipes of Prayag Rishab's beautiful mix of "All Good Things" through to the closing indie-breaks anthem "About to Fall" from Future Funk Squad and Beatman & Ludmilla -- "Spring" is a melodic journey reflecting the arrival of colour and new life.
There are no genre boundaries -- only great records -- carefully selected and meticulously blended to create the story of "Spring".
10 years after the original version was released, legendary trance classic I Don't Wanna Lose My Way by Dreamcatcher returns! Ready to make new memories, the classic provides you new remixes by Tenishia, Ralphie B & Suncrusaders, Loverush UK! and more!
Paul Castle and Simon Langford caused some heavy damage when the original came out. 'I Don't Wanna Lose My Way' hit # 14 in the UK national charts and was one of the highlights of Ibiza in 2001 with huge support from the likes of Pete Tong, Judge Jules, Paul van Dyk, Seb Fontaine, Tall Paul and of course the one and only Tiësto.
The new version of this legendary classic is more stripped back, still keeping the haunting effect of the Original 2002 version but with Australian singer Jesso adding new verses to really cross this over to the masses.
This pack features the killer remixes from Ralphie B & Suncrusaders, Tenishia andofferingsfromtheveryhotandindemand Loverush UK! and the battle of SoulSeekerzVsJohnnyPinkfinger adding some serious class to the package.
Faster Kill Pussy Cat (Nat Monday Remix) is a track from the We are Planet Perfecto compilation, which is the first in a new compilation series from dance pioneer Paul Oakenfold. It reflects the diverse, non genre-conforming sounds that have given him the legendary status he holds today.
Through his new weekly PlanetPerfectoradioshow, which is currently syndicated worldwide to 44 stations and attracts 15 million listeners every week, Paul Oakenfold plays a wide spectrum of sounds that reflect his equally diverse tastes.
The official M.I.K.E. - Back In Time (Orjan Nilsen Refix) was uploaded on YouTube an hour ago, and I find it heavier, harder and better than the other versions of this track. The official release will be on October 31!
This is the kind of music I definitely would love listening to on a climbing trip! More climbing videos will be posted today and throughout the weekend, before aiming for another topic next month..
Based On A True Story is the first release from W&W's forthcoming album called Impact, an album bursting with energy, riding the characteristic sounds of W&W's musical fusion. Minimal, techno, progressive, trance and even some dubstep coming together as one, creating an interesting album!
Impact will include collabs with producers like Ummet Ozcan, Leon Bolier, Wezz Devall, Mark Sixma and vocalists Bree, Emily and Ana Criado, but based upon the powerful force of W&W. Pre-order for the W&W album "Impact" starts September 2nd.
Sinéad by Within Temptation is the second single from the album The Unforgiving and will be released between July 15-19 in most countries. The album itself is based on a comic book series and was released in March this year. Sinéad is a female figure in these comics.
I've got a soft spot for Within Temptation, and perhaps SharondenAdel's voice in particular. Here you can find some useful info about Within Temptation: http://www.within-temptation.com/
MusicPosted by Jean Dar Thu, May 19, 2011 15:20:41 One of the most euphoric and uplifting tracks I've ever heard!
Nolita - Seven Seas (Original Mix) is a fresh trance track that epitomises my conception of brilliant trance music. There are other mixes of this wonderful track, but I figure the original mix gives you the best rush.
Listening to tracks like this in the gym really gets me going! Nolita has a few other high-end trance tracks to his record and they're all worth listening to.
I have a passion for travelling, having visited multiple countries on six continents for longer or shorter periods throughout the years. My interests include a wide array of areas, spanning from creativity to scientific matters and culinary delights to physiology and beyond.
I speak fluently English and Swedish, and at best I do fairly well in Spanish, and less well in French.
